All this, whatever exists in this changing universe, is pervaded by the Lord. Enjoy life through renunciation. Do not covet anyone’s wealth. To that Divine, whom Brahma, Varuna, Indra, Rudra, and Muruts praise with divine hymns, Whom the singers of Sama Veda glorify through sacred chants and Upanishads, whom yogis perceive in deep meditation with focused minds, whose true nature even gods and demons do not fully Know— To that Supreme Being, we offer our salutations. You are my mother and father, You are my relative and friend, You are my knowledge and wealth, You are everything to me, O Lord of Lords. O Lord, lead me from falsehood to the ultimate truth, from darkness to divine light, From death to the proximity of immortality. You are the Supreme—grant me the vision of your divine presence.
