mangal mandir kholo,
dayamaya! mangal mandir kholo.
jivanvan ati vege vatavyuum,
dwar ubho shishu bholo,
timir gayum ne jyoti prakashyo,
shisune urma lo lo,...... dayamay
nam madhur tam rahyo nirantar
shishu saha preme bolo,
divya trushtur avyo balak
prem amiras dholo,...... dayamay
open the auspicious temple,
o compassionate one, open the temple of grace.
life has rushed forward with great speed,
at the door stands an innocent child.
darkness has vanished and light has spread—
embrace the child in your heart, o merciful one.
the sweet name remains eternal,
speak it with love along with the child.
a divine thirst has awakened in the child,
let the nectar of love flow, o merciful one.
